Online Application - First Steps
See the MPG
Users Manual for more detailed instruction on how to use the
online application system.
- Identify an Authorizing
Official (AO) for your municipality. Review the MPG
Roles and identify at least one executive-level municipal
official (CEO) who can serve as the Authorizing Official for
your municipality.
- Create a new user
account for the AO. Go to the On-line Grants Management
System log-in page and review the "New
User Registration Guide." Click on "New User?"
in the Log-in box, complete your Contact Information and Save.
- Have the AO(s)
validated by DHCA. Contact DHCA (802-828-5249) to be
validated as the Authorizing Official for your municipality.
- Create a new application.
Once logged-in, an Authorizing Official (or a grant Administrator
for the municipality) may initiate a new MPG application following
instructions provided in the MPG Users Manual.
- AO assigns other
roles. Follow instructions provided in the "New
User Activating Guide for Authorizing Officials"
on the log-in page to assign a grant Administrator, Writers
and Viewers to your grant application.
- Begin application.
Log-in with your username and password and begin work on the
application, following guidance in the Application Instructions
